The Psychology Internship Program at Indiana University School of Medicine offers a variety of training experiences. With access to patients at wide array of IU Health facilities and guidance from expert psychologists serving faculty appointments, this IU School of Medicine program is an engaging experience that trains interns in Health Service Psychology to make use of current research and implement evidence-based practice in a variety of clinical settings.
Consistent with the tripartite mission of IU School of Medicine, the Psychology Internship program values service, education and research. The program seeks applicants who have strong clinical training as well as experience in conducting and utilizing research. In this program, interns have extensive opportunities to apply knowledge gained through research in assessment and intervention situations. Interns who complete the program are prepared to conduct research informed by experience in real-world clinical settings.
