January 7, 2021

In light of the significant disruption in the United States Capitol, the Department of Mental Health Services extends our support to those affected. These threatening and violent acts are disturbing. IU School of Medicine acknowledges the impact on our community and recognizes that direct or indirect exposure to such events can be troubling, concerning or traumatizing and result in many emotional reactions. As always, if you are in distress, please know we are here to help. Trainees may contact the Department of Mental Health Services by calling 317-278-2383 or by reaching out through our secure portal.

All IU School of Medicine students, residents and fellows seeking mental health or personal counseling services—for any reason—can access resources for confidential personal consultation and treatment on every IU School of Medicine campus.
